The birds are chirping, flowers are blooming - spring is officially here and the second quarter of the year has offered us a very pleasant welcome. What happened in March? This past month, we decided to focus on what is already around us and keep marching forward. If you are curious, what does it mean in the Appsvio world, continue reading.
To warm up - let’s start with news from the app front:
Feature Bundle Cloud - extension for Customer Portal
We are extending the reach for the Additional Fields feature - now, we support SLA metrics! This will help you be even more transparent to your customers and allow them to see what your standard of service is. We have also added a possibility of viewing parent fields along with child issues on your portal, which could play a significant role in clients understanding the journey of their ticket.
Issue Templates Agent
We keep improving the add-on and raising the bar! This time, we can happily announce that team fields in child templates are officially supported!
And on the security side - our templating add-on qualifies for Runs on Atlassian badge. What is it though?
As you already know, Issue Templates Agent is a 100% Forge app, which already sets high standards for safety. Runs on Atlassian badge is a new program, which will help clients recognize the security-related efforts of vendors and make these apps stand-out. It is a clear statement of two facts, especially valuable to enterprise clients:
- This app is data residency compliant
- The data is is stored within Atlassian
Runs on Atlassian program, along with other ones, such as Cloud Fortified, gives Marketplace Partners a chance to be even more transparent about their measures of data protection and security. Both the clients and Partners will end up as beneficiaries and it makes our hearts grow.
Issue Scheduler for Jira
We are not forgetting about this trusty add-on either! What’s the update? Short but sweet - we have extended the support to the parent field, which slowly breaks down the limitations of our app. We have also completed the update with a possibility of adding action items into paragraph fields. Now nothing is stopping you from creating top notch checklists and making sure that your team is on the same page with definition of done. Continue scheduling issues and stay ahead in the game of Jira!
What’s happening Data Center?
Both for Service Pack and Feature Bundle we currently support the newest Jira version 10.5. This system update brings more secure app installations, more control over data pipeline exports and a completely new aggregate API. If you would like to know more about Jira 10.5, you can read more here.
Anything else?
March has also been a month during which we have received two amazing reviews on our add-ons: Perspective and Custom Fields Suite.
As you know, we have implemented major changes and enhancements to Perspective (previously known as Customers and Organizations Management), giving it a new life and purpose. So naturally, we are happy to hear that it completes its responsibilities. Katie, the reviewer, has also given a remarkable shout out to our Support Team and their efforts!
“Customer Details is truly an amazing app for Jira Service Management (Service Desk). This app is saving my clients precious time as they fill out our Service Desk forms. All of my clients have said they are very happy now that they don’t have to fill out the same information each time they submit a ticket. The customer support we’ve received from Tom and Witold are absolutely top notch! Additionally, Appsvio is constantly updating their app to make it even better! I strongly recommend this product because of its wonderful features and its outstanding customer support! Thank you Appsvio for this excellent app!”
Katie Stevens
Adam Olejniczak, a user of Custom Fields Suite, also highlighted our support and development teams.
“Works exactly as described. Easy to use, configure and add to Jira Projects. Very responsive development team and goes the extra mile to help users. I had an edge case, yet the Appsvio team answered my queries and followed up with another Atlassian Partner to help solve my issue. Thank you.”

It goes without saying that it is always nice to hear feedback from you guys, our users. We are glad when you let us know what works and what doesn’t, and when we can help you - the feeling is even better.
ACE Berlin
Another month, another ACE! But it was an unforgettable experience! Codecentric gave us the warmest of welcomes, making us feel at home. We got to meet a ton of new faces, but also reconnect with friends. The atmosphere was truly energetic and time was definitely flying by too quickly.
Magda and Ola had an opportunity to represent us and share our story about reviving company values. Without the bumps in the road, we wouldn’t have reached our solution used today - Made My Day gratitude program. And of course, as huge Jira fans, we had to use Jira Service Management and our Feature Bundle to smoothly implement it.
After the gratitude session, Ostap from Reliex took over the stage and introduced us to the complex world of Capacity Management. His presentation featured not only their own solution to the problem, but also a tasteful selection of memes which made his talk even more relatable.
We need more Atlassian Events like that!
Aleksandra Sokolowska, Kathryn Vargas, Christopher Skoropada, Magdalena Skoropada and Huber Kut.
IT Talk: Women Power Up!
March was a perfect time to talk business and IT in a powerful environment. Kate Pawlak spoke up in the DataArt office about her experiences in IT and Atlassian workspace. She shared her insights and gave some pointers for women starting out in the Atlassian ecosystem. She did not just highlight the career paths one could take, but also how to put certifications and Atlassian University to the best use.
Kate’s presentation was just one of many inspiring ones at the conference. The speakers covered topics such as choosing or switching careers, personal branding and work-life balance. The inspiring talks along with training sessions and great company made every minute memorable! Definitely need more events like that!
We are ending this month’s recap, as always, on a positive note. We hope you have enjoyed another edition of our newsletter. Look out for another article in the series! And if you are too impatient to wait another month for a piece from us, check out our blog!
Are we seeing you in Anaheim at Team’25? Make sure to save the date and catch us at booth #117!
Till the next time!
