What is 'Sprint'?

A sprint is a short, time-boxed period when a Scrum team focuses on completing a set amount of work. Atlassian describes sprints as central to Scrum and agile ways of working: you plan a slice of work, execute, get feedback quickly, and repeat. The point isn’t speed for its own sake—it’s predictable progress, faster learning, and fewer “surprises” hiding until the very end of a project. atlassian.com
