What is 'Compass'?

Compass is Atlassian’s internal developer platform built around a software catalog. It helps teams map and manage services, components, and the systems they own — and then improve “software health” with scorecards, standards, and visibility into ownership and dependencies. The goal is simple: make it easier for engineers to stay in the flow, find the right docs and owners, and keep microservices from turning into a mystery maze. Compass also connects with the rest of your toolchain and can be extended via Atlassian’s platform and APIs.
