License Size & User Calculation

The license cost is determined solely by your largest Jira Service Management environment. Every day, the app scans all authorized JSM instances to check their active user counts. The instance with the highest number of users dictates your required license tier and is the one that must hold the active subscription. Connected Salesforce or Azure DevOps platforms do not affect pricing and are never counted toward your license size.

Managing License Migration

You can view your current status, including total licensed users and which environment is currently designated as the billing instance, directly above the table in UniPortal > Connections. If your team layout shifts over time (e.g., Environment B grows larger than your currently licensed Environment A), you must contact our support team to manually transfer the active license to the new larger instance.
