User story template

A user story is a concise, written explanation of a software feature told from the perspective of the end user. Because every product update should deliver clear value, using a consistent user story format helps teams verify that they are building the right features for their audience.

Why use a user story template?

Implementing an agile user story template allows to maintain a high standard across multiple projects. Instead of starting from scratch, a Jira story created from a template ensures all relevant data - such as acceptance criteria and personas - is included every time. By providing a clear user story example within your Jira issue templates, you speed up the team’s performance and ensure your development reflects the actual end-user thought process.
