Permissions
Permissions define what users can do within the app. They must be configured correctly to ensure the app functions as expected.
ATM Administrators
ATM Administrators have full configuration rights. They can access the Testing Hub, where they can create and manage Testing Projects, as well as configure environments. It is also the admin’s responsibility to assign appropriate permissions to other team members to ensure smooth operation.
ATM Users
ATM Users are members of the testing team with standard permissions. They can access Reports within the Testing Hub, but they cannot modify the app’s configuration.
For the app to work seamlessly, users need the following permissions in any Jira project linked to your Testing Project:
- Browse work items – to view testing elements, such as Test Cases and Test Executions.
- Create work items – to create new testing elements.
- Edit – to modify work items or update app custom fields.
- Link work items – to connect items, such as linking Test Cases to Requirements.
Tip
ATM strictly respects Jira user permissions. Users will only see search results for items they have permission to view.
