Installation
You install Appsvio Test Management (ATM) on your Jira Cloud site from the Atlassian Marketplace. Only Jira administrators can install apps. See Permissions.
Install ATM from the Atlassian Marketplace
- Open the ATM listing on the Atlassian Marketplace.
- Start the installation and select the Jira Cloud site where you want to use ATM.
- Follow the steps on the screen to finish the installation.

If your site runs on Atlassian Isolated Cloud, contact Atlassian or one of the selected Atlassian Solution Partners to install ATM. See Atlassian Isolated Cloud.
Wait for the setup to finish
After the installation, ATM needs up to 5 minutes to finish its setup. During this time, ATM pages show the message Initialization in progress. When the setup is done, the pages refresh by themselves.
Next steps
- Open ATM from Apps › Test Management in the Jira sidebar. There you find the Get started, Testing Projects, Import, and Reports pages. See Navigation.
- Create the sample project with Create sample project on the Get started page. We recommend it right after the installation, because it’s the easiest and fastest way to evaluate ATM. See Quick Start.
- Creating the sample project also adds the ATM testing objects to Jira. See ATM in Jira.
- Set up ATM for your own spaces in a Testing Project. Only Jira administrators can create and change Testing Projects. See Testing Elements.
