Sample project

Before diving into your own configuration, we highly recommend exploring a working setup. Generating a sample project gives you a safe sandbox to test features, learn best practices, and see exactly how Appsvio Test Management works in a real-world scenario.

How to create a sample project

To generate a sample project with mock data on your instance, follow these steps:

Navigate to Apps in the left Jira menu, select Test Management, and click the Get Started.
Click the Create sample project button and accept the confirmation dialog.

Generating all the mock data might take a few moments - be patient while we create a new Jira space.

Once the process is complete, click Open project.
You will be redirected straight to your new ATM Demo project.

This project comes fully pre-populated with sample Requirements, Test Cases, Test Plans, Test Executions, and Defects, so you can start clicking around immediately.

Tip

Automatic Starring: To save you time, this new sample project is automatically marked as Starred (favorite) for your account. You will always see it at the very top of your Spaces list in the left menu.

Additionally, you can explore reporting features by navigating to the Testing Hub, selecting Reports, and generating a new report using the demo project data.
